But before we can celebrate, we have to sog our way through a few days of nothingness. I was able to exempt all my finals, so I've just been sitting in class reading and checking Pinterest and making small talk. And now I'm in this weird, uncreative, impassionate, uninspired rut. I don't know what to bake, what to make, what to photograph, what to write. I have nothing. I could just bang my head against a brick wall and omit nothingness. In the midst of my uncrafty despair I keep coming back to this comic that makes me laugh. Back when I was in like 5th grade I went through this newspaper comic hoarding phase, but the catch was that my family didn't receive the newspaper. My grandma became my supplier of the comics, and so we would laugh about them daily. I've calmed down a bit now with my comic obsession, but this one Pickles comic has had me giggling for about 2 weeks. I gotta show you.
The funniest part is that my grandma didn't even know the actual lyrics, although I did (even though the song was released in 1974). Then I had the song stuck in my head for a while (go listen to it now. I even found y'all a lyric video.) It just keeps making me laugh. I keep finding myself singing "You fill out my census" to myself and I just can't handle it.
Anyways, John Denver is great I hope you all appreciate this fine cartoon as much as I have.
