Photo Adventure: Ladybird Lake & Barton Springs

Today my family and my cousins ventured down to Ladybird lake, which is a dammed offshoot of the Colorado River which runs through the heart of downtown Austin. Then we made the short trek to Barton Springs, which is a spring fed pool that's just shy of 1,000 feet in length. It was a wonderful opportunity to use my Olympus TG-4 and my cousins and I had just a ball of fun!

We paddle boarded...

...and canoed...

 ...and swam.

Our life vests got all up in our grill and so we rocked the Chubby Wubby face.

 We enjoyed the beautiful views.

Once we had our fill of sugary snacks and regained our energy it was time to jump into Barton Springs.

There was this nice bouncy diving board which we took full advantage of..

...and it was graceful and hilarous all at the same time.

And of course, we ended the day with soft serve.

We all had so much fun! Ladybird is fun for everyone, and Barton Springs is a very unique way to cool off on a hot summer day!
