Sunset and sleepover

The sky has been simply stunning lately. Today was overcast and a bit rainy so I was expecting a wonderful sunset and I was not disappointed in the least. My friend Nalani is staying the night at my house tonight and after we got our World famous chocolate cupcakes in the oven we walked over to the park to view the sunset. The weather has been nice and cool today and the marching band from my school was practicing and serenading our walk. It was legit.
First off, check out the amazing clouds in the obvious formation of a cross. Nalani and I both saw it and sort of lost our minds due to the awesome power of our Lord.

Due to the earlier rain, the clouds have a bit of a rainbow streak in the and I think it is beautiful. The sky and clouds never really cease to amaze me. The colors and textures that can be seen in clouds blows my mind.

Then we decided to be those teenagers and do a teeny tiny bit of posed photography in the park. She's fabulous, isn't she?

As we were walking around these little yellow flowers caught my interest and they looked fun with Nalani's shoes so this happened.

When we arrived back at my house my grandma had brought by one of her homegrown cantaloupes and it was juicy and sweet and perfect.

We then iced and enjoyed our cupcakes.

Nalani is best storyteller and kept us all laughing. She's got the best stories and delivery on the block.
