Seashell 2.0

I received this seashell from my extended family for Christmas
(they vacationed on a tropical island right before Christmas). A very thoughtful gift indeed. I saw more than the shell though. It was just screaming for a upgrade. I considered metallic spray paint (that stuff works wonders and makes everything look royal), nail polish marbling, or melted crayons, but I settled on acrylic paint. I wanted to follow the natural lines of the shell but also add a little doodle like flair. Before I grabbed my smallest paintbrushes and went at it I washed and dried the shell, then painted layer by layer.
See...

Doesn't it look great on my window sill?

Although I feel like it has more potential, it was a fun, quick project. Thanks for stopping by :)
