Planting tomatoes in glitter pots

As if you didn't know, gardening season is upon us. Last weekend I got my act together and gave a couple tomato plants a new home.
I had strongly considered setting up larger, more conventional raised beds, but that was just going to be too expensive, so large pots were the answer. I've been looking for an excuse to try out glitter spray paint, and I found my excuse. I was not dissapointed IN THE LEAST. This stuff was fabulous
Be sure to spray it nice and evenly

These fine little plants were just begging for a new home. Both are hybrid varieties, one is a Summer Set, and the other is a Sun Sugar. I can't wait to taste these beauties.

I opted for the organic soil because you know, organic.

All planted and settled in! I assume that as they grow I will scoot the pots closer together so they will have more support with both cages. If need be I could buy another, larger case and place it between the 2, Time will tell.

It's so sparkly! This picture just doesn't do it justice.
Next to each plant I buried a cut up coffee creamer bottle. I sliced the top off and slit the bottom in 6 different places to create a slow release watering system.

Next challenge is to name them. Ideas, anyone?
